Kiho of the group P1Harmony has shared his thoughts regarding the fraud allegations against his mother.
On the 19th, Kiho expressed through a fan communication platform, "I think it has been very confusing and difficult for you lately. I am really sorry about that," and added, "Still, I am very grateful to the fans (P1Harmony's fandom name) who have supported and believed in me."
He continued, "I have been reading the letters you sent, and thanks to that, I have received a lot of strength," and said, "I genuinely feel thankful to many of you, but I also feel double the amount of apology. I will move forward thinking of the fans who are always by my side."
Kiho's mother was sued last March for violating laws related to fraud and similar receiving activities. In this regard, the agency FNC Entertainment stated, "The case related to Kiho's mother was reported to the police last year, and the investigation concluded with no charges. However, due to the victim's objection, a recent re-investigation has begun."
They added, "Kiho is completely unrelated to this case and has been unaware of how it has progressed until now," and explained, "Nevertheless, regarding the fact that Kiho's name has been mentioned several times on the victim's social media, the victim has also clarified the misunderstanding and conveyed an apology to the artist."
The agency stated, "If the investigation reveals any wrongdoing by his mother, she will naturally have to take legal responsibility," and added, "Separately, Kiho will do his best to resolve the issue with a sense of apology towards those who have been harmed as a duty of a child."
