Jang Wonyoung of the group Ive shared her thoughts on being called 'the President of Teens.'

Ive (Ahn Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Lee Seo) held a press conference to celebrate the release of their third mini album 'IVE EMPATHY' on the afternoon of the 3rd at the Conrad Seoul in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

Since their first world tour last year, Ive has showcased remarkable growth in their skills through major music festivals such as Lollapalooza Chicago in the U.S. and Summer Sonic 2024 in Japan, earning the title of 'complete idol.'

Regarding such titles, Jang Wonyoung expressed, "It feels like a new stimulus for us and gives us great strength to take on challenges. We seem to be moving forward with our own stance while performing the music and stages we've always done. We are grateful that people appreciate us in this flow."

In particular, Ive has gained immense popularity among teenagers as 'the President of Teens.' When asked about this, Jang Wonyoung said, "There are many friends growing up watching our actions and listening to our music, so I feel that we have an influence. The more I think about it, the more cautious I want to be in my actions as myself and as Ive, and I want to have a positive influence in the future."

Meanwhile, Ive's title track 'ATTITUDE' samples Suzanne Vega's 'Tom's Diner' and features a dazzling synth sound, a familiar melody, and an addictive chorus. The lyrics convey the message that the only thing we can change in an unchangeable situation is our 'attitude,' encouraging a cheerful acceptance of circumstances that cannot be altered. The song will be released at 6 PM today.
