The group Tours has started donating to celebrate the New Year.
The Community Chest of Korea announced on the 22nd that Tours donated the proceeds from the sale of Kakao emoticons, which the members participated in creating.
To commemorate the release of their single ‘Last Bell’ on November 25 last year, Tours launched Kakao emoticons based on real-life images of the members, providing joy to fans while also donating the sales proceeds to add meaning to the event.
The proceeds from this donation were made in the name of the fandom, 42, to celebrate Tours' 1st anniversary (January 22). The donation will be used for a uniform support project for low-income youth who have difficulty purchasing school uniforms due to financial hardships.
A representative from the Community Chest of Korea stated, “We thank Tours for sharing a joyful and meaningful experience with their fans, and we hope the artist's positive influence spreads widely,” adding, “We will do our best to ensure that the donor's intentions are well communicated.”
Tours debuted in January last year with the song ‘The First Meeting Didn’t Go as Planned’ and received great love.
