
The production team of ‘Salon de Holmes’ has released a tribute video for the late actor Park Ji-a.
On the 9th, the official ENA YouTube channel posted a video titled “The final letter from Salon de Holmes to the late actor Park Ji-a.”
The late Park Ji-a passionately played the role of the president of the parents' association in ‘Salon de Holmes,’ which became her last work. The video featured subtitles of an interview where the late Park Ji-a said, “I started dreaming of acting when I was in high school during a school arts festival. I felt like I was nothing, but they applauded me as if I were someone very important. At that moment, I felt like I was shining.”





Following this, the video showed scenes from the works the late actor appeared in, as well as behind-the-scenes footage from the ‘Salon de Holmes’ set. The late Park Ji-a was seen earnestly engaged in filming with a bright smile. It allowed viewers to glimpse her serious acting demeanor.
Additionally, an interview excerpt from the late Park Ji-a on ‘Kang Sim Jang League’ was revealed, where she said, “I am someone who has many shortcomings, so I always think to prepare enough so that I won’t regret it later. Whether someone sees it or not, I act because I love it. It’s not grand, and others do it too,” which evoked deep emotions.
The production team of ‘Salon de Holmes’ remembered her as “the humble actor Park Ji-a, who constantly worked hard for fleeting moments,” and stated, “We will cherish and remember the name of the one who laughed and cried with us on set.”
At the end of the video, they shared a group photo taken with the production team, reiterating their condolences by saying, “We will always remember.”
The late Park Ji-a debuted in 2002 with the film ‘Coastline’ and was from the theater company Chaimu. She left a strong impression playing the role of Asako's mother ghost in the film ‘Gidam’ (2007) and the role of the director's ghost in the film ‘Gonjiam’ (2018).
In the globally hit Netflix series ‘The Glory’ released in 2022, she showcased her presence as Jeong Mi-hee, the mother of Song Hye-kyo's character Moon Dong-eun. The late actor received significant attention for her outstanding performance as a bad mother who neglects her daughter suffering from school violence, treating her merely as a means of making money. She passed away in September 2024 while battling a cerebral infarction.
