
Cube Entertainment's rookie boy group NOWADAYS has made significant strides in their debut year.
Since their debut in April last year, NOWADAYS has released a total of 4 single albums and digital singles over the course of 8 months, maintaining a rapid pace. They made their debut with the single album ‘NOWADAYS’ and within just 7 days, their debut song ‘OoWee’ was nominated for 1st place on music shows, while their follow-up track ‘TICKET’ showcased a refreshing image, capturing attention with diverse concepts.
In July, they conveyed a mature sentiment with the project single ‘Rainy Day (2024 Remake ver.)’, a remake of a classic song by Beast, and in August, they made a comeback with their second single album ‘NOWHERE’, showcasing a twist. NOWADAYS achieved a remarkable increase in initial album sales, doubling the figures compared to their debut album, thanks to their unique hip and sensuous music that resonated with fans both domestically and internationally.
Additionally, they returned in November with the digital single ‘Let’s get it’, presenting an addictive hip-hop track. NOWADAYS demonstrated solid live performance skills at their first busking stage, which attracted over a thousand spectators, and ‘Let’s get it’ ranked 4th on the Bugs real-time chart, garnering attention.
NOWADAYS has also showcased their charismatic presence on various global stages, leaving a strong impression on Hallyu fans by participating in events like ‘2024 KCON JAPAN’, ‘KCON GERMANY 2024’, and ‘Golden Wave in Tokyo’. They won the ‘IS Rookie Award’ at the ‘Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA)’ and were nominated for the rookie award at the ‘39th Golden Disc Awards’, establishing themselves as a rising rookie group.
