The group NewJeans has opened a new SNS account to share their recent updates.
On the 14th, NewJeans unveiled a new SNS account called 'Jeansforfree' and greeted fans through the story feature.
The members said, “We missed (the fans). We will meet here often,” and added, “Isn’t it really cold in Korea right now? We prepared warm meals for you. Make sure to eat well.”
They continued, “We see that many idol fans are working hard together, and we hope this can be of some help, so we prepared this. Please take care of yourselves and let’s stay strong together,” referring to the impeachment rally.
NewJeans announced that they prepaid for 110 servings of kimbap, 100 bowls of samgyetang, 50 bowls each of bibimbap and dumpling soup, and 100 drinks at a kimbap restaurant near Yeouido. This indirectly revealed their supportive stance on the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol.
NewJeans stated, “A small gift for Bunnies and K-pop fans. Regardless of the artist, you can receive it under the name ‘Bunnies’ as long as you have a light stick.”
NewJeans is currently in a dispute over their exclusive contract with their agency, Ador. They are calling for the termination of the contract, but Ador claims it is still valid and has even filed a confirmation lawsuit.
