Rapper E-Sens expressed a negative view on President Yoon Suk-yeol's declaration of martial law.

On the 5th, E-Sens posted on his social media, "I’m just a fool who knows nothing about politics, parties, or left and right. Is it not wrong for someone who suddenly declares martial law in the early morning and says 'eliminate' the people to be the president of our country?"

He continued, "If martial law could be declared at will and Yoon Suk-yeol could do whatever he wanted, we would all be censored and eliminated, right?" and added, "I woke up and I'm still in shock."

President Yoon Suk-yeol declared martial law on the 3rd but lifted it 6 hours later following a resolution from the National Assembly. The martial law proclamation included a statement that "all medical personnel, including those on strike or who have left their medical posts, must return to their duties within 48 hours and work diligently, and those who violate this will be punished under martial law."

E-Sens rose to fame in the hip-hop scene in 2003. He notably collaborated with rapper Simon Dominic as part of the 'Supreme Team' but is currently a solo artist.
