According to the integrated computer network of the Korean Film Council on the 10th, 'Superman' attracted 92,938 viewers on its opening day, claiming the box office throne.
In second place is 'Noise' (directed by Kim Soo-jin), which drew 50,459 viewers on the same day, bringing its cumulative audience to 827,121.
'Noise' is a reality horror thriller where the protagonist, Juyoung, searches for her missing younger sister in a noisy apartment complex plagued by inter-floor noise, encountering mysterious events along the way. The film stars Lee Sun-bin, Kim Min-seok, Han Soo-ah, and Ryu Kyung-soo.
In third place is 'Jurassic World: New Beginnings' (directed by Gareth Edwards), which attracted 48,181 viewers, with a cumulative audience of 1,232,744.
Released on the 2nd, 'Jurassic World: New Beginnings' tells the story of Zora (Scarlett Johansson) and Dr. Henry (Jonathan Bailey) who enter the most dangerous island on Earth, home to the secret research facility of the original Jurassic Park, to uncover shocking truths while facing the threat of dinosaurs.
'F1 The Movie' (directed by Joseph Kosinski) is in fifth place, gathering 31,493 viewers and a cumulative audience of 1,100,315.
Released on the 25th of last month, 'F1 The Movie' depicts the story of veteran driver Sonny Hayes, who, unable to become the best, joins the lowest-ranked team and challenges races alongside a genius rookie driver. The film features actors Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, and Damson Idris.
As of 8:10 AM on the same day, the real-time reservation rate is led by 'Superman' with 20.1%, with over 77,000 tickets reserved. Following it are 'Jurassic World: New Beginnings', 'F1 The Movie', and 'Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint'.
