Joo Hyun-young shared her thoughts on her role in 'The Horror Train'.

On the afternoon of the 24th, a screening and press conference for the movie 'The Horror Train' was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul. Director Tak Se-woong and actors Joo Hyun-young, Jeon Bae-soo, and Choi Bo-min attended.

Joo Hyun-young stated, "I didn't think my first debut had to be in a horror film. I just felt that if the opportunity came, I had to seize it, and I was grateful that such an opportunity arose."

She continued, "I have loved horror since I was a child, to the point where my parents tried to dissuade me, saying it was not good for my emotions. They even threw away all the horror comics and books at home on a rainy day because I loved horror so much."

Joo Hyun-young expressed, "Watching horror films has enriched my imagination and provided me with a lot of inspiration. It has been a source of nourishment for my dream of becoming an actress. Just the fact that I got to film a horror movie made me want to dive in without any worries, and I wanted to do it right away."

'The Horror Train' is a mystery horror film where Da-kyung (played by Joo Hyun-young), a horror YouTuber thirsty for views, uncovers the secrets of Gwangrim Station, where a series of mysterious disappearances occur, leading her to face horrific events. It will be released on July 9.
