This year, actor Yoo Ji-tae's determined efforts continue.

On the 11th at 2 PM, Yoo Ji-tae will hold the 25th invitation event 'Viewing Independent Films with Yoo Ji-tae' at KU Cinematheque, Konkuk University in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, where he will watch the film 'Silver Apricot' together.

This event is part of Yoo Ji-tae's ongoing efforts to expand the culture of independent films, and the first film of the year is 'Silver Apricot'.

Directed by Jang Man-min, 'Silver Apricot' stars Na Ae-jin, Ahn Seok-hwan, Kang Bong-seong, and Kim Jin-young. The story follows Jeong Seo (Na Ae-jin), a non-regular webtoon artist, who, on the verge of marrying her boyfriend Kyung-hyun (Kang Bong-seong), wins a lottery for an apartment and seeks her mother Mi-young (Park Hyun-sook) to gather the down payment. She ends up taking a saxophone attached to a loan note from her divorced father Yeong-joo (Ahn Seok-hwan) and goes to find him in her hometown, Mukho Port in Gangwon-do. This feature-length independent film prompts viewers to reconsider the meaning of family and is set to be released on the 15th.

After the screening at the event, Yoo Ji-tae will participate in a stage greeting with the director and actors. A cine-talk with the audience will also take place.

The 25th invitation event 'Viewing Independent Films with Yoo Ji-tae' can be applied for until the 8th on Yoo Ji-tae's official YouTube channel, Muniity. It is also possible to watch through on-site purchases or general reservations.

Meanwhile, Yoo Ji-tae has joined director Jang Hang-jun's historical film 'The Man Who Lives with the King' (working title), where he plays the highest power figure opposing a young king who has been dethroned. Yoo Hae-jin, Park Ji-hoon, and Jeon Mi-do are also set to appear.
