‘Goal Daring Girls’ has attracted attention with the opening of the new G League, securing the top spot in the viewer ratings for entertainment programs on Wednesdays.
On the 15th, the SBS entertainment program ‘Goal Daring Girls’ (hereafter ‘Goal Daring Girls’) featured a match between ‘FC Top Girl’ and ‘FC Actionista’.
Before the match, it was revealed that Tammy from ‘Top Girl’ transferred to ‘Actionista’ as the first transfer player in ‘Goal Daring Girls’. Tammy, who had been performing as the goalkeeper for ‘Top Girl’, joined ‘Actionista’ as a field player.
Seeing Tammy in the ‘Actionista’ uniform, Da-young complained, “You said you were going to America, did you lie and come here instead?” and welcomed Tammy. Additionally, actress Lee Young-ah was introduced as a new player for ‘Actionista’, while choreographer Lee Yoo-jung from ‘1MILLION’ was revealed as a new player for ‘Top Girl’, raising expectations for their future performances.
Lee Yoo-jung from ‘Top Girl’ showcased exceptional movement from the beginning of the match, energizing the ‘Top Girl’ offense. ‘Actionista’ also created scoring opportunities early on. After earning a corner kick, ‘Actionista’ announced the first goal of the G League with a calm second-ball finish following Park Ji-an's header.
‘Actionista’ scored another goal from the same set-piece situation. Park Ji-an, who accurately headed Lee Jung-hyun's corner kick, scored a beautiful header goal for their second point. ‘Top Girl’ coach Gam Tae-young made a tactical change by substituting goalkeeper Lee Chae-yeon with Yoo-bin after conceding two goals in the same situation.
In the second half, ‘Actionista’ continued to threaten ‘Top Girl’s goal with dangerous set pieces. However, ‘Top Girl’ was not to be underestimated. Lee Yoo-jung, who joined as a new attacking resource for ‘Top Girl’, gradually warmed up and boosted the team’s momentum. Ultimately, in the closing moments of the match, Lee Yoo-jung scored her debut goal with an incredible outside shot. Commentator Park Joo-ho expressed amazement, saying, “People with such exceptional talent shoot like that.”
‘Top Girl’, narrowing the gap to one goal, made a fierce comeback attempt until the end, but time was running out. The match ended with a score of 2-1, and ‘Actionista’ claimed the first victory in the G League. Tammy, comforting her ‘Top Girl’ teammates, expressed, “There are still more matches left, so I will always support ‘Top Girl’,” drawing attention.
Meanwhile, ‘Goal Daring Girls’ airs every Wednesday at 9 PM.
