Singer Ok Joo-hyun confessed to her experience with hair transplant surgery due to hair loss and shared her scalp care methods.
On the 17th, a video titled “Nung Joo-hyun's Temgu Life | Exploring Ok Joo-hyun's Hair Care Routine, Hair & Scalp Care Tips” was posted on the YouTube channel 'Nung Joo-hyun'.
Ok Joo-hyun revealed that a common concern among musical actors who frequently wear wigs is hair loss, stating, “About 9 years ago, I pulled out hair roots from the back of my head and transplanted them to the front.”

She mentioned, “After the hair transplant, I faced the issue of baby hairs disappearing,” and firmly stated, “Having money doesn’t guarantee a proper transplant. If the spacing of the hair roots doesn’t support it, no amount of money will help.”
Describing the back hair as sturdy like a strong tree and the side baby hairs as delicate, Ok Joo-hyun emphasized, “They need to be transplanted within a range where their roots do not invade each other.”
Ok Joo-hyun noted that after transplanting the back hair to the front, the hairline on both sides became as neat as if it had been groomed, saying, “It was very stressful for several years, but now baby hairs are growing.”
She also shared the items and methods she used to overcome this issue. Ok Joo-hyun provided tips such as shampooing in the evening instead of the morning, shampooing twice, and providing nutrients to the scalp.
Meanwhile, Ok Joo-hyun is currently performing in the musicals 'Marie Curie' and 'Red Book'.
