Singer Choi Nak-ta (35, real name Choi Jeong-ho) is getting married in November.
According to multiple entertainment industry sources on the 15th, Choi Nak-ta will hold his wedding ceremony with a non-celebrity fiancée on November 1 at a wedding hall in Gangnam, Seoul.
Earlier this month, Choi Nak-ta announced his upcoming marriage by posting several wedding photos on his SNS account. Although he did not specify the exact date in the post, he shared a photo in formal attire along with the message, "I am getting married. I apologize for not being able to contact you. I will make it up in the future," which led to congratulations from friends. He also expressed his gratitude by commenting, "I will catch up, even if it's late."
Choi Nak-ta debuted in 2013 with the single 'Ice Cream' and gained the nickname 'Eardrum Boyfriend' by releasing emotional songs such as 'So Cute', 'Stubborn', 'That's Too Strange', and 'TOY'. He also participated in numerous OSTs for dramas like '18 Again', 'Confession Couple', 'My Roommate is a Gumiho', and 'When I Was Prey to a Bully', increasing his public recognition. Recently, he has been appearing on the JTBC variety show 'Let's Fight Ghosts 4'.
Choi Nak-ta is also known as the son of Choi Jae-sung, a former lawmaker of the Democratic Party who served as the Chief of Staff to the President during the Moon Jae-in administration. The former lawmaker announced his retirement from politics in 2022 after serving four terms in the National Assembly.
