Actors Kang Tae-oh and Kim Se-jeong's couple photoshoot has been revealed.
The stars of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘Lee Gang has a Moon’ (hereafter ‘Lee Gang-dal’), Kang Tae-oh and Kim Se-jeong, visited ‘Cosmopolitan’ ahead of the broadcast.
Kang Tae-oh and Kim Se-jeong perfectly embodied the romantic photoshoot concept with their unique chemistry.
In the interview following the photoshoot, they also shared behind-the-scenes stories from the filming of ‘Lee Gang-dal’. The drama is set to premiere on the 31st at 9:50 PM on MBC.
When asked about how she got involved in the project, Kim Se-jeong said, “To be honest, I ran away a few times when the offer came. I felt that I was still lacking to show all the different aspects in a project. Then I heard that my co-star would be Kang Tae-oh. When I re-read the script with Kang Tae-oh in mind, I started to see answers to some scenes that I couldn’t figure out before.” She added, “I usually love challenges and learning, so I wondered why I was trying to avoid it. In the end, I joined the project with the mindset of ‘What can’t I do!’”
Kang Tae-oh shared, “I once went to get my fortune told for fun, and they said I should do historical dramas or romance genres. Not long after, I had my fortune read again, and it said to be close to water and trees. (laughs) Then I got the offer for ‘Lee Gang-dal’, which included all those elements I mentioned: historical drama, romance, water, and trees. So I had a good impression of the project, and when I read the script, it was so much fun. I immediately wanted to do it without any hesitation.”
Reflecting on finishing the filming, Kang Tae-oh expressed, “I feel really empty. I won’t be able to see the people I’ve been with every day for a year anymore. It feels like breaking up with a partner you’ve been with for a year. So when I have to fill that empty time again in my own way, I really realize that it’s over.”
On the other hand, Kim Se-jeong said, “I feel a bit differently. It feels like I’ve made a really close friend. Although the drama has ended, our connection is just beginning. We may not be able to see each other often or keep in touch like we did during filming, but we’ve become friends who will always support each other from afar.”
