On the 22nd, a video featuring Choi Gwi-hwa and Park Ji-hwan as guests was released on YouTube's ‘Go So-young's Pub Restaurant’, where they discussed their participation in the Disney+ series ‘Tackling the Flow’.
MC Go So-young introduced Choi Gwi-hwa's good deed, which had become a hot topic in online communities in the past. It turned out that Choi Gwi-hwa had supported a staff member's surgery costs.
Person A stated, “After working as a drama staff member for several years, I was in severe pain and diagnosed with female cancer, requiring major surgery. I was the sole breadwinner for my sick mother’s hospital bills and living expenses, so I felt completely hopeless.”
They continued, “Hearing about my difficult situation, senior Choi Gwi-hwa generously offered to cover my surgery costs, and thanks to that, I was able to receive treatment and continue working healthily.”

In response, Choi Gwi-hwa said, “One day, I noticed that the staff member didn’t look well. When I asked, I learned about their situation. I just helped with a small amount that I could, wishing for their full recovery,” adding, “I received a message just the other day saying they are healthy and working hard.”
Choi Gwi-hwa is currently performing passionately as Je San Daegun in tvN's ‘The Tyrant's Chef’. He will also appear in the Disney+ series ‘Tackling the Flow’, which will be released on the 26th.
