Former national swimming athlete Park Tae-hwan visits the family home he prepared for his parents during his senior year of high school.
The KBS2 entertainment program ‘Newly Launched Pyeon Restaurant’ (hereafter ‘Pyeon Restaurant’) will air a special episode titled ‘Mom’s Hand Special’ on September 19 at 8:30 PM, in celebration of the national holiday Chuseok. National filial son and culinary genius Kim Jae-joong, along with the eternal marine boy Park Tae-hwan and a super special chef shrouded in mystery, will showcase their cooking with their mothers. During this process, it is reported that Park Tae-hwan’s family home, which he prepared for his parents at the age of 19, will be revealed, drawing attention to the main broadcast of ‘Pyeon Restaurant’.
In the VCR to be aired that day, Park Tae-hwan appeared in an unfamiliar kitchen, unlike his usual self. This place is said to be the family home of Park Tae-hwan’s parents. He stated, “I moved here in 2007 during my senior year of high school and lived with my parents,” adding, “Whenever I come to my family home, I think to myself that I made a good decision back then. I prepared this house for my parents,” which surprised everyone.
At the age of 19, Park Tae-hwan was already sitting on the throne of world swimming. As he rose to become a national sports star, offers for advertisements flooded in, and even now, many people remember the various commercials featuring Park Tae-hwan.
