Singer Jadoo has mentioned the reason for her sudden halt in activities.
On the 17th, a video titled "Jadoo, who disappeared from broadcasting due to various frauds, reveals her feelings for the first time in 10 years (Jang Young-ran in tears)" was posted on the YouTube channel 'A-Class Jang Young-ran'. In this broadcast, singer Jadoo appeared and candidly shared her current situation and past hardships.
Jadoo stated, "I was doing something somewhere. Since I married a pastor..." referring to her life after marriage. She continued, "Honestly, I think I did everything except broadcasting," she said with difficulty.
She also confessed that at one point, she suffered from "celebrity syndrome" at the peak of her popularity. Jadoo revealed, "There was a time when I would appear every time I turned on the TV," sharing her inner thoughts honestly.
Regarding the sudden disappearance, she said, "Brother Kang-du and I went to different companies. That's when I started getting scammed. I was scammed in various categories."
She added, "Because I was so naive about the world, I would say, 'Sure, use my card,' and I couldn't turn away from someone who spent time with me, even when they talked about their medical bills and household issues," explaining that she suffered financial losses because she couldn't ignore her acquaintances.
Jadoo expressed, "I began to feel disillusioned with people and realized that I was suffering from severe depression at that time. I was living with an oxygen tank, going to the hospital for IV drips, and while trying to find a company that could make my faith life comfortable, I encountered contract fraud."
Having overcome all of this, Jadoo stated, "There was someone who supported me through my difficult times, which allowed me to overcome it," revealing that she was able to get through the tough period.
