On that day, Yoon Nam-no said, "Actually, I didn't start cooking because I wanted to. My parents ran a cold noodle restaurant, and when I was in the first year of middle school, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. I took over, but the cold noodle restaurant went bankrupt."
He continued, "My mother would sit there while I chopped radishes and boiled the cold noodles. At that time, I served ridiculous cold noodles. One day, I undercooked the noodles. But the customers ate it all anyway. They felt sorry for our family. Then, it went bankrupt after three months."
Yoon Nam-no attracted attention by saying, "With the insurance money from my mother's cancer diagnosis, she sent me to a cooking academy. I started getting cooking certificates from middle school."
