Comedian Yoo Jae-suk expressed his satisfaction with a taxi driver who responded to a drunken violent customer with curses.
On the 17th, taxi driver Na Han-hee, who delivers lunch boxes to neighbors, appeared as a guest on tvN's 'Yoo Quiz on the Block'.
On that day, Na Han-hee revealed that he runs a non-profit organization while driving a personal taxi. He mentioned that he only receives 10,000 won in donations to provide meals for elderly people living alone twice a week.
Jo Se-ho asked Na Han-hee, who has been driving a taxi for about 20 years, "Do you collect taxi fares well?" Na Han-hee replied, "Now I use an automatic payment taxi, but before that, I drove a regular taxi. Back then, there were many times I couldn't collect fares. Some people would open the door and run away when I tried to collect the fare."
Na Han-hee recalled, "There was a person who was drunk and sleeping. When we arrived home, he asked to go back to the starting point. In the end, I turned around, but when I asked for the taxi fare, he said, 'Why did you take the long way?' He kicked the seat and became violent from the back."
He continued, "I thought about calling the police, but if I called the police, I wouldn't be able to work that day. Besides, the police don't collect fares for you. I just told the customer to leave quickly, but he refused to pay and caused a scene. I barely managed to send the customer away, but I was so angry while driving. So, in a timid mindset, I turned the car around and cursed. I said, 'You bastard. Live well and eat well,'" he laughed.
In response, Jo Se-ho praised him, saying, "You did well." Yoo Jae-suk also chimed in, "You should have cursed more."
