Actors Oh Yeon-soo and Son Ji-chang visited the United States and revealed their meeting with their eldest son.
On the 10th, a video titled ‘Eldest Son’s Graduation Ceremony Son Appears (with permission) / U.S. Baseball Stadium (Cheering for the Grandson of the Wind)’ was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Oh Yeon-soo’. The video has currently surpassed about 330,000 views.
Oh Yeon-soo said, “We came to the U.S. for our eldest son’s college graduation. The second son has lost too much weight, so we are starting to fatten him up,” as she made cream pasta.
She continued, “Our eldest son is graduating from art school and is currently holding a graduation exhibition before the ceremony. He went to the military in between and is finally graduating now.”
In particular, with the consent of their eldest son, they revealed his face, resembling the aura of actor parents who were youth stars, receiving enthusiastic responses from subscribers. Online, comments such as “I thought it was Song Joong-ki,” “Truly superior genes,” “Actor-like,” and “Looks just like his parents” poured in.
Oh Yeon-soo expressed her affectionate feelings, saying, “The firstborn has made me feel maternal love, bringing me emotions I feel for the first time every time. I remember vividly the first time he was born, and when he was 4 years old, carrying a kindergarten bag bigger than himself and confidently getting on the kindergarten shuttle bus. I cried so much, and I still remember that moment. It was the same when sending him to the military, and now that he has graduated from college, the feelings of being choked up are the same as before.”
She added, “He allowed me to reveal his face to support mom’s YouTube. The second son promised to reveal himself if the number of subscribers (called ‘Yeon-su’s fans’) increases.”
Furthermore, she expressed her hopes, saying, “I hope he carves out his dreams well as a new member of society,” and added, “They say children grow not as we wish but as we observe. I am so grateful that they have grown as I have hoped. The best thing I have ever done in my life is giving birth to my sons.”
