Ok-soon from the 28th generation of the SBS Plus·ENA entertainment program ‘I Am Solo’ has announced legal action against allegations of school violence directed at her.

Ok-soon’s legal representative, Roel Law Firm, issued an official statement on the 10th, stating, “All allegations regarding school violence, bullying rumors, and forced transfers that are currently being spread and reproduced through internet communities are completely false,” firmly denying the allegations.

They continued, “Ok-soon has never engaged in school violence during her school years nor has she received any disciplinary actions related to it,” adding, “The transfer mentioned in some posts was not a forced transfer due to school violence, but rather a normal procedure due to a change of residence.”

The law firm emphasized, “Ok-soon was a diligent student who studied until after midnight every day since middle school, and even after entering a foreign language high school, she focused on her studies under school rules that required her to attend school at 7 AM and leave at 11 PM, eventually entering university through regular admissions,” reiterating, “She has never bullied anyone throughout her elementary, middle, and high school years.”

Additionally, although the author of the problematic post commented, “It’s a mess in the group chat,” Ok-soon’s acquaintances from her school days expressed their disbelief, stating, “Such a group chat does not exist.”

Roel stated, “Ok-soon has refrained from responding out of concern that a hasty clarification might escalate the controversy or harm the ‘I Am Solo’ program and her colleagues,” but added, “Since the broadcast, both she and those around her have suffered serious damage due to malicious posts, and her livelihood has been affected. We plan to initiate criminal proceedings against the original poster.”

Furthermore, they added, “We will take all possible legal actions, both civil and criminal, against anyone who posts, transmits, or disseminates unverified false information and rumors or expands and reproduces them.”

Earlier, on the 28th of last month, a post on an online community claimed, “28th generation Ok-soon was a bully during her time at Il-san Shin-il Middle School and was forcibly transferred during elementary school,” which sparked controversy. The post has since been deleted.

28th generation Ok-soon gained attention as a lookalike of actress Han So-hee while appearing on the ‘I Am Solo’ divorcee special.
