
Pop artist Nancy Lang confirmed her affluent childhood.
On the 5th, a video titled "Nancy Lang's Past" was posted on the 'Chilseong Label' channel.
In the video, Nancy Lang submitted her elementary school record from Apgujeong, Seoul. When MC Wendy expressed surprise, saying, "The address is Apgujeong Hyundai Apartments," Nancy Lang introduced herself as "an original Apgujeong kid who lived in Apgujeong Hyundai Apartments from elementary school to university."
When Jeon Tae-poong asked if she was wealthy, Nancy Lang replied, "I am an only daughter, and my mother lived in the U.S. for over 20 years and managed a large business," adding, "It was said to be in the entertainment industry, and she did concert business for incredible people like Frank Sinatra and Tom Jones back then."
She further stated, "Was it to the level of almost sweeping up money?" and added, "My grandfather was very wealthy, so my mom even did ballet back in the day."
The childhood images of Nancy Lang revealed in the video showcased her in glamorous dresses and the vintage interior of her home, confirming the 'gold spoon' theory.
Nancy Lang also mentioned, "I had a private tutor for every subject when I was young."

She attended a British international school in Manila, Philippines, for high school. Nancy Lang said, "My mom started battling cancer, and I didn't want to show her how hard it was, so she suddenly sent me away. I wasn't prepared for English, so I started with ESL and eventually made it to the regular class."
She mentioned that the international school had incredibly wealthy students, saying, "Some friends had personal helicopters and 12 supercars," which drew astonishment.
During university, her mother's cancer recurred, leading to difficult times. Nancy Lang expressed, "My mom was the owner, and when the axis collapsed, our family also struggled," adding, "My rosy future disappeared."
She shared, "I had to earn money without knowing how to earn it. I was doing broadcasting for survival and collaborating with companies on art while managing living expenses, and eventually, my mom passed away, which became a great pain for me."
Nancy Lang mentioned the scam marriage she experienced eight years ago, saying, "I ended up with a lot of loan debts," but added, "Even with ups and downs in my life, I have never let go of my work."
Born in 1976, Nancy Lang graduated from Hongik University with a degree in Western Art and a master's degree from the same university. She gained recognition in Korea through the Venice Biennale in 2003. As a pop artist, she has also appeared in various entertainment programs.
