Singer and musical actress Ok Joo-hyun has expressed her stance regarding allegations that she has been operating her agency without registration.

In a phone call with Sports Kyunghyang on the 9th, Ok Joo-hyun stated about the background of the unregistered agency, "It seems to have been omitted during the situation where several representatives were changed."

She added, "If there has been an omission, we will promptly follow the relevant procedures as soon as it is confirmed, and I sincerely apologize for causing concern to many representatives."

Earlier that day, reports emerged that the planning company Title Role, established by Ok Joo-hyun in April 2022, and her agency TOI Entertainment are not registered for public cultural arts planning.

TOI Entertainment includes Ok Joo-hyun and musical actress Lee Ji-hye. Both are affiliated with Title Role but are currently reported to be under TOI Entertainment.

According to the Public Cultural Arts Industry Development Act, entertainers who operate as corporations or as individual businesses with more than one person must register for public cultural arts planning. Violating this by operating without registration can result in imprisonment for up to two years or a fine of up to 20 million won.

Meanwhile, Ok Joo-hyun is currently meeting audiences with the musical 'Marie Curie' and is also set to appear in the musical 'Red Book,' which opens on the 23rd.
