The members of ‘What Do You Do When You Play?’ experienced being employees at Incheon Airport.
The episode aired on the afternoon of the 21st, featuring the segment ‘What Do You Do at the Airport?’ directed by Kim Jin-yong, Jang Woo-sung, Jang Hyo-jong, and Wang Jong-seok, with writer Choi Hye-jung.
On this day, the members gathered at 6 AM and had breakfast under the guidance of the production team. After filling their stomachs, they headed towards Incheon Airport.
Yoo Jae-suk expressed, “Ah... I’ve never really been to Incheon Airport for travel. I feel really sorry! To my family,” and added, “I’ve never been on an overseas trip with my second child, Na-eun. Haha, you also haven’t traveled abroad much compared to before,” conveying his regrets about his family.
He continued, “Both Haha and I get chased a lot. When we go, we keep getting calls... Look, we went abroad and ‘Lee Yi-kyung’s noodle slurping’ is trending,” sharing the struggles of being a head of the family. Haha also empathized, saying, “It’s uncomfortable. I’ve never had a pleasant trip.”
Upon arriving at the airport's safety management area, the members decided to help with the inspection of foreign objects for aircraft takeoff and landing. Yoo Jae-suk and Joo Woo-jae boarded a safety vehicle outside the airport and even tried using a walkie-talkie.
The two picked up foreign objects that had fallen on the runway, contributing to aircraft safety.
Meanwhile, Haha and Lee Yi-kyung went underground. Upon arriving at the baggage sorting and management system, they were overwhelmed by its size, which is 64 times that of a soccer field. Haha humorously remarked, “Am I really that small? It says ‘Watch your head,’ but I don’t know why I need to be careful.”
After a long detour, Haha and Lee Yi-kyung arrived at their work area and began moving luggage that needed to be inspected.

Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Joo Woo-jae, and Lee Yi-kyung participated in the final procedure before loading the luggage onto the aircraft. The senior supervisor advised, “Today, we have about 250 pieces of luggage to work with. First, you must not get hurt, and always keep the bags close to your body to avoid strain. If the bags are heavy, ask your colleague next to you for help.”
Yoo Jae-suk mentioned, “Luggage must be handled carefully. There was a video circulating in the past of luggage being kicked at the airport,” referring to past airline controversies.
After completing warm-up exercises to avoid injury, they moved efficiently as the leader said, “We will work on one flight from both sides of the conveyor belt. You can sort the luggage into economy, mileage, and business class.”
The Yoo Jae-suk and Joo Woo-jae team attached tags to the top of the containers and double-checked the flight numbers. When Joo Woo-jae struggled to distinguish between economy and business class, the senior explained, “If there are no letters, it’s economy; business class has yellow tags with ‘P’ written on them. You can take off the tag and stick it on the back of your hand, but make sure the handle is facing forward when you put it in.”
The four members seemed to become more accustomed to their tasks, stacking luggage with great teamwork.
Finally, the four put on safety helmets and headed to the work area to load the luggage onto the aircraft. Haha and Woo-jae, in charge of the large aircraft, continued their work while pushing the luggage, following the senior’s words, “As there are many passengers, there will be a lot of luggage. Checking and communicating with hand signals is our main task.”
Yoo Jae-suk and Lee Yi-kyung, responsible for the small aircraft, entered the cargo hold after putting on earplugs and protective gear. In the surprisingly small space, they couldn’t even stand up straight and squeezed their bodies in, stacking luggage without a break.
Yoo Jae-suk shouted, “This is killing my back... My back really hurts. And my wrist...” expressing his discomfort. Lee Yi-kyung also agreed, saying, “Wow, this is crazy! It’s amazing. My wrist hurts.”
MBC’s ‘What Do You Do When You Play?’ airs every Saturday at 6:30 PM.
