Pop star Katy Perry (40) and British actor Orlando Bloom (48) have officially acknowledged their breakup.
Local media, including People and USA Today, reported on the 3rd (local time) citing a statement from Perry and Bloom's representatives, saying, "The two have been adjusting their relationship over the past few months and are focusing on co-parenting."
Although they have broken up, the two stated that they will continue to be a family for their daughter, emphasizing that "raising their daughter based on love, stability, and mutual respect is the top priority."
Perry and Bloom have been known to be in a romantic relationship since 2016, and they briefly broke up in 2017 but later reconciled.
They got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019 and welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, the following year. The news of the birth was revealed through UNICEF's Instagram, where the two are serving as goodwill ambassadors.
Bloom has a son, Flynn, born in 2011, with his ex-wife, Australian model Miranda Kerr. Daisy is Perry's first child, as she was previously married to comedian Russell Brand but has no children.

Despite having a daughter after getting engaged, the two ultimately faced a breakup. US Weekly reported, citing a source familiar with the situation, that "Perry is upset about the breakup, but she is relieved that she doesn't have to go through another divorce."
Katy Perry is a singer who gained worldwide popularity by leading the pop trend in the 2000s. She has released seven studio albums to date, and her 2010 album 'Teenage Dream' had an impressive five tracks that reached number one on the Billboard charts.
