Singer Park Ki-young talked about her desire to return to the stage after giving birth.

On the 7th, a video titled "Singer Park Ki-young's 3 Essential Checklist Before Marriage" was posted on Solbi's YouTube channel 'Solbi is Back'.

In the video, Park Ki-young said, "I was 35 years and 7 months old when I gave birth to my daughter," and expressed her deep affection for her daughter, saying, "I wonder if my life would have had meaning if it weren't for my daughter."

When Solbi asked, "Did you gain strength from your child when you were struggling and about to break down?" Park Ki-young replied, "I didn't even realize I was struggling and breaking down," adding, "To this child, I am everything, and the world. I have to protect her."

She continued, "Someone once said that being a mother is like 'walking through fire with heaven on your back,' and as I gave birth and raised my child, I started to think about a being that surpasses me."

Solbi mentioned, "I have a strong desire to have a child, but some say, 'Once you give birth, your life is over,'" to which Park Ki-young honestly replied, "It's true that life is over."

She added, "(After giving birth) it took 2-3 years to return to the stage. I wanted to do music so much and missed it. I wanted to return to my original self so badly."

Park Ki-young surprised everyone by saying, "In fact, I breastfed for 38 months because of that desire."

She revealed that her daughter was a demanding and picky child, saying, "So the only way I could control this child within my ability was through breastfeeding," and expressed her longing for music and the stage by saying, "While raising my child, I wanted to do music so much that I practiced while breastfeeding with a baby carrier."

Park Ki-young debuted in 1997 with "Do You Remember?" and has received much love with representative songs like "Start," "Last Love," "Blue Sky," "Walk," and "Butterfly." She is known for her refreshing vocal ability and clear tone.
