BLACKPINK's Jennie is establishing a new home for her personal label 'Odd Atelier (OA)' in Hannam-dong.

According to the real estate industry on the 3rd, OA is set to move from its current office in a standalone house in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, to a newly constructed building in Hannam-dong this November. The decision to relocate was made as the existing lease contract expires in October, and interior construction is currently underway.

The new office building is a community facility with a basement level and four above-ground floors, covering a total area of 927㎡ (approximately 280 pyeong), completed in April last year. It features a southwest-facing entrance and an exterior reminiscent of a gallery, with a rooftop that offers a view of the Han River. The design was handled by architect Hong Tae-sun, an honorary member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), known for designing several major luxury architectural projects in Korea, including the Lotte Premium Outlet in Paju and the Ricenzia in Yeouido.

Real estate experts view this relocation not merely as a move of office space but as a strategic decision aimed at maximizing the global brand value of Jennie and OA. As of last year, the rental conditions for the building were estimated at a deposit of 1.5 billion to 2.5 billion won, with monthly rent ranging from 60 million to 80 million won, and the sale price is estimated to be around 45 billion won.

The decision to relocate appears to have been influenced by ongoing controversies regarding building code violations at the existing office. The standalone house office used by OA in Itaewon was unauthorizedly converted from a building permitted for museum use to an office, and it had received a warning of administrative action from the Yongsan District Office.

Meanwhile, Jennie is currently on the world tour 'Deadline' with BLACKPINK. She is set to meet an audience of 1.8 million, including major venues like Wembley Stadium in London. Alongside the tour, global projects through OA are also in progress, with a new album comeback scheduled for November.
