A request to find a daughter who was adopted 40 years ago has been received on ‘The Secrets of Detectives’, stirring the viewers' emotions.
In the episode aired on the 16th, the Channel A entertainment program ‘The Secrets of Detectives’ featured a request to find a biological daughter born to a single mother before marriage. The requester had a child while living with her past lover under the premise of marriage. However, as conflicts deepened over the issue of advancing their wedding, the man left her with only the words, “Get rid of the child.”
After giving birth to her daughter alone, she lived in a one-room apartment above a friend's store and helped with work, but it was not easy to support herself while taking care of a newborn. Eventually, the requester sent her daughter for adoption to the child's uncle, who was the brother of her past lover. The uncle, who had been injured while exercising in his youth and could not have children, was believed to be someone who would raise the child with love.
However, a few years later, the requester discovered a child who was the same age, lived in the same neighborhood, and looked just like her daughter had been adopted by a local clothing store. She lived with the suspicion that “the uncle might have re-adopted her,” for 20 years. When the child became an adult and underwent a DNA test, the result came back as ‘not a biological match’. Yoon In-na commented, “Even if lovers part ways, if they miss each other too much, they tend to see that person everywhere, and it seems the requester felt that way too,” expressing her sympathy.
The wealthy detective team began their investigation by visiting the address where the child's uncle lived. During their inquiry, they received shocking information that “(the child's uncle) passed away a long time ago.” Will the wealthy detective team be able to find the requester's real biological daughter who was separated 40 years ago? This will continue next week on ‘The Secrets of Detectives’.
In the true crime reconstruction segment ‘Case Notebook’ with daily detective Kang Daniel, a man came to the detective team saying, “I have azoospermia, but my wife is pregnant.” Under questioning, the wife confessed, “I got pregnant from being raped.” However, a friend of the wife, whom the detective team met, revealed, “Before marriage, she lived off various men as a sponsor, and now she sponsors young men with her lawyer husband’s money.”
As a result, the protagonist filed for divorce, citing his wife's infidelity as the cause. However, the wife's side shamelessly claimed, “I was deceived into a fraudulent marriage because my husband hid his azoospermia.”
Even more shocking was the fact that the wife's lover, who was the biological father of the unborn child, was the protagonist's close friend, a lawyer. Moreover, he had been representing the protagonist throughout the divorce negotiations and had handed over unfavorable evidence to the opposing side. Defconn expressed his anger, saying, “Do you want to be with your friend's wife?”
Ultimately, the close friend faced disciplinary action and dismissal for violating legal ethics, and the wife was required to pay alimony and was divorced. That day, Kang Daniel showcased his remarkable deductive skills by pinpointing the protagonist's close friend as the lover from the start. As the wife's past and her affair with the protagonist's close friend were revealed one by one, he exclaimed, “Crazy b*tch,” and immediately apologized, causing laughter.
