Top star Lee Hyori has announced that she will refuse all sponsorships and proposals while preparing for the opening of her yoga studio.
The 'Ananda Yoga Studio' that Lee Hyori is opening posted on SNS (social media) on the 31st, stating, “We politely decline all sponsorships and proposals. We are working to create an atmosphere where we can quietly focus on our practice. We apologize for not being able to respond to each inquiry.”
It continued, “Due to issues with the reservation system, the opening has been slightly delayed. We had planned to open in the first week, but it will be postponed by one week. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you in the second week.”
Earlier, on the 29th, Lee Hyori's agency Antenna announced, “Lee Hyori will open a yoga studio in Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.”
Lee Hyori is expected to teach Hatha yoga classes at 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM under her yoga alias 'Ananda'. Afternoon classes conducted by other instructors will begin in October.
'Ananda' means joy and bliss in Sanskrit, and she has also tattooed this word.
After marrying Lee Sang-soon in September 2013, Lee Hyori lived in Jeju Island for 11 years before moving to a standalone house of about 100 pyeong in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul last year.
Even during her time in Jeju, she taught yoga classes, and in 2022, she taught yoga for her agency's staff. In May of this year, she conducted classes at a yoga brand store where she is currently modeling.
