Park-gun from the trot powerhouse Total Set has shown his passionate spirit as a rookie reporter.
On the 1st, Park-gun appeared in the Monday corner of KBS ‘Morning Yard’, ‘Famous for a Reason’. On this day, reporters from all over the country gathered, and Park-gun caught attention as a rookie reporter who has been active as ‘Assistant Park’ in last year's ‘Birth of a Worker’ and recently in ‘6 o'clock My Hometown’.
Dressed in a stylish white suit alongside Son Heon-soo, Park-gun joked, “People often say we don’t look like celebrities because we’re always out working, but today I dressed up as much as I could,” making viewers smile.
He continued, “Although the weather seems to have cooled down after the autumn equinox, it’s still surprisingly hot. Recently, while filming, I even experienced dehydration from using a brush cutter. It was dangerous and difficult to the point of collapsing and vomiting. However, if I don’t do it, my parents will have to work even harder and sweat more, so I’m determined to keep going,” sharing his struggles.
He also mentioned, “I’ve traveled to many places, regardless of mountains or seas, but this year there was nationwide damage from flooding. When I visited Yesan in Chungcheongnam-do, it looked like a war zone. Seeing the suffering of the flood victims, I tried to send gifts that I thought would be needed and put my heart into it,” he revealed.
Park-gun passionately sang Jin-sung's ‘Don’t Tackle Me’ with Son Heon-soo. In particular, he created a revised version that conveyed the struggles and passion of reporters, heating up the atmosphere and resonating with the audience.
Having given up various entertainment shows and events, Park-gun has been active as a reporter for four months, stating, “The patience, mental strength, physical fitness, and skills I learned during my 15 years in the Special Forces were perhaps meant to serve the mothers and fathers I meet every week. I’m going wherever there’s a need for filial piety, so please feel free to reach out to me, Assistant Park,” he earnestly appealed.
