
Actor Kim Bo-sung (59, real name Heo Seok Kim Bo-sung) has revealed that he is battling a rare incurable disease.
On the 31st of last month, a video titled "Surgery without anesthesia for the sake of atonement? 100% guaranteed laughter. Kim Bo-sung, the man of loyalty to his friend Kim Soo-yong" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Jo Dongari'.
In the video, Kim Bo-sung mentioned that he is preparing for the third charity boxing match against Japanese fighter Kondo Tetsuo, explaining, "The first match was to help children battling childhood cancer, the second match was to assist visually impaired people since I am visually impaired, and the third match is to help patients with rare incurable diseases."
He then confessed, "I am suffering from a rare incurable disease," adding, "I can't talk about it on the broadcast. It's a disease that is almost impossible to cure, but I will talk about it after the match."
Kim Bo-sung elaborated, "It's a disease that was caused by getting hit a lot."

He also made a shocking confession that he has never undergone a health check-up in his life. Kim Bo-sung said, "Honestly, I lived a rough life, so I'm scared of what might come out in the health check-up results," and expressed his belief that he would "live without knowing and die."
Previously, Kim Bo-sung revealed in entertainment and documentary programs that he lost vision in his left eye after fighting with delinquents during his school days and received a grade 6 visual impairment diagnosis.
His trademark sunglasses are also said to be used to protect his eyesight.
Additionally, he shared a story about being at risk of losing vision in his right eye due to an injury during a mixed martial arts match, which garnered public sympathy.
