Following the dating rumors between BTS member Jimin and Song Da-eun from 'Heart Signal 2', reports of their breakup have emerged, while Big Hit Music continues to remain silent.
On the 31st, a media outlet reported that Jimin had a brief relationship with Song Da-eun before and after his military enlistment, and that the video of their home date recently posted by Song Da-eun was filmed during their relationship.
Song Da-eun and Jimin have been embroiled in dating rumors since 2022. After sightings of the two dating were made public, Song Da-eun hinted at their relationship by posting a photo of a man presumed to be Jimin on her account, as well as a photo of an earphone case with 'Da-eun' and 'Jimin' written on it.
However, during a live broadcast on her SNS, she responded to related questions by saying, “Isn’t it better to ask them?” and “I don’t have a boyfriend.”
She then changed her stance again. In May of last year, she declared legal action against a netizen who sent her malicious comments, and in June, she warned, “Just because your favorite idol loves me doesn’t mean I deserve to be insulted. You don’t know how angry I can get and what I might do.”
Jimin's agency, Big Hit Music, has consistently remained silent on the related issues. It is unclear whether they will release any statements in the future, but it is expected that they will not respond differently to these breakup rumors.
