A Chinese woman attempted to intrude into the home of BTS member Jungkook.

On the 31st, the Yongsan Police in Seoul reported that they sent a 30-year-old Chinese woman, referred to as A, to the prosecutors on charges of attempted trespassing on the 27th without detention.

A is accused of visiting Jungkook's home in Yongsan at 11:20 PM on June 11, the day Jungkook was discharged from the military, and repeatedly pressing the door code.

The police, who were dispatched after receiving a report, arrested A in the act.

It has been determined that A is not a resident of South Korea and stated that she came to Korea to see Jungkook after his discharge.

In December 2023, Jungkook, who enlisted alongside Jimin from the same group, was discharged after serving 1 year and 6 months in the 5th Infantry Division's Artillery Brigade in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.

This is not the first time BTS members have faced such incidents. In Jin's case, shortly after his discharge last June, he was unexpectedly kissed on the cheek by a 50-year-old Japanese woman during a fan 'hug event'.

The police, after receiving a report from a netizen, sent this Japanese woman to prosecutors in May on charges of indecent acts in a public place under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act.

During his military service, Jungkook was also targeted by a hacking organization led by a Chinese national, resulting in the theft of stocks worth 8.4 billion won from HYBE, but he avoided actual damage due to a payment suspension.

The mastermind, identified as Jeong Mo (35), who was captured in Thailand and repatriated to South Korea, has been sent to prosecutors as of the 29th.
