Ziyang, a 'global mukbang YouTuber' with an impressive 12.4 million subscribers, has clarified the allegations of abandoning her pet cat.
On the 24th, a video titled 'Final Clarification Video' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Ziyang's Garden'.
In response to questions about where her cats are in her vlogs, Ziyang said, "They are at my family home. My mom took them."
She explained, "I temporarily left them when I was away from home, but my parents have grown attached to the cats. They love basking in the sunlight at the family home, and I feel bad about bringing them back. My parents are happy with them, so they agreed to take care of them until I move to a place where I can take them."
In response to comments asking, "Why are you raising dogs after sending away the cats? Did you abandon them?" she reacted, "I can see how it might look that way."
She added, "I thought it might be greedy to bring them into my busy situation, but my mom takes good care of them. She loves animals so much that there are currently two dogs and two cats at my family home. I'm a homebody, so I'm at home all day, always with the dogs."
