Comedian and YouTuber Lee Se-young mentioned her breakup with her ex-partner.
On the 24th, a video titled “Comedian Lee Se-young Became a Beauty After Spending 100 Million on Plastic Surgery! Survived After Plastic Surgery Side Effects!” was posted on the 'Namumiki Investigation Agency' YouTube channel.
Miki Kwang-soo asked Lee Se-young, who is 37 this year, “At this age, don’t you feel like you should get married soon?” and Lee Se-young honestly replied, “I’m not thinking about marriage at the moment. I have experienced a breakup before.”
She had been dating a Japanese boyfriend while running a YouTube channel together, saying, “I had a break for about two years, and I thought about what I could do well. I fell for my boyfriend who came to learn Korean,” adding, “We often stayed late to study together, and then we ended up drinking and naturally started dating.”
She continued, “My relationship with that friend was really fun,” but recalled, “In a situation where we were about to get married, my mother was very ill. I couldn’t leave Korea, but he had to go, and I had to stay.”
She revealed, “Things weren’t going well, and as grievances piled up, it became clear that ‘it’s impossible unless we resolve these issues.’”
Miki Kwang-soo empathized, saying, “So it was a situation breakup,” to which Lee Se-young responded, “That’s right. So we really broke up coolly.”
Lee Se-young stated, “If I meet someone now or if I meet that friend again, or even if I meet someone completely different, I don’t plan to make it public. It’s not good to let everyone know everything,” adding, “People thought I was married. I still get asked, ‘Why did you come alone? What about your Japanese boyfriend?’”
