On the 21st, comedian, film actor, talent, restaurant CEO, bestselling author, and lecturer Ko Myung-hwan appeared as a guest on KBS2’s ‘Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room’, showcasing his role as a ‘true multi-tasker of this era’.
Recalling the traffic accident in 2005 that changed his life, Ko Myung-hwan said, “The doctor was preparing for my last words. Just before dying, I thought, ‘I’m going to die without bringing out the me inside me.’ I said that if I was saved, I wanted to live not by others' standards but to bring out what was inside me. You all can have other paths besides being a celebrity,” he shared.
Listening to Ko Myung-hwan’s story, Hong Jin-kyung burst into tears. She revealed, “I have lived my whole life as a celebrity. I can’t imagine living a different life. I realized that there must be another me inside, and I reflected on my life with regret, feeling a connection to his words.”

Hong Jin-kyung married her husband, a businessman five years her senior, in 2003 and welcomed her daughter Rael in 2010. She personally announced her divorce news on the 6th.
