The new song 'Jump' by the group BLACKPINK will finally be released today (11th) at 1 PM. As their return marks their establishment as 'world-class artists' with increasing influence both as a team and solo, it is expected to create a significant impact in the global music market once again.

According to YG Entertainment, the new digital single 'Jump' is a hardstyle genre track. The unique vocals of the members layered over a guitar riff reminiscent of a scene from a Western movie captivate the ears, while the explosive and intense chorus section offers a deep addiction that draws listeners in instantly.

This song was completed with the collaboration of TEDDY and 24, who have produced numerous mega hits for BLACKPINK, as well as renowned lyricists and composers from abroad. The bold genre challenge displayed under their brilliant synergy expands the spectrum of BLACKPINK's music, providing fresh enjoyment to listeners.

The music video is also expected to showcase a special charm that BLACKPINK has never presented before. The bold and iconic direction by director Dave Meyers, unique scenes created with many dancers, and a delightful storyline are expected to leave a strong impression.

YG Entertainment stated, "You will be able to witness the perfect synergy of the four members who have come together after 2 years and 10 months," adding, "In particular, the music video vividly expresses the narrative of the team BLACKPINK and the influence they possess through powerful visuals, so we ask for your high expectations."

Notably, 'Jump' has shown signs of unusual popularity even before its release. The stage that was pre-released at the Goyang concert received explosive responses, and teaser content has consistently ranked first on YouTube's worldwide trending list upon release. With everyone's attention focused, interest is also drawn to the new history BLACKPINK will write.

Meanwhile, after successfully completing the Goyang concert, which is the starting point of their world tour covering 16 cities and 31 shows, BLACKPINK will head to Los Angeles on the 12th and 13th. They will grace stadiums around the world, including Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
