Actors Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin have collaborated for the first time. This is through director Park Chan-wook's new film 'Can't Help It.'

At the production report conference for 'Can't Help It' held at CGV I-Park Mall in Yongsan, Seoul, on the morning of the 19th, Son Ye-jin expressed her satisfaction, saying, "It's really amazing that I have never met Lee Byung-hun in any of my previous works. It ended so quickly that I felt a bit regretful after actually working together."

Lee Byung-hun responded, "I had only seen him through his works, but when we finally worked together, he delivered performances that were much more detailed than I had imagined. It was impressive."

The chemistry between the two during the event was quite remarkable. Son Ye-jin, who returned to work with this project after giving birth, said, "Becoming a mother in real life has greatly helped me express my character," to which Lee Byung-hun tilted his head and replied, "That's different from what I saw on set," sparking curiosity.

Lee Byung-hun revealed, "The child actor playing my daughter asked a lot of questions, and I kept answering them, often losing track of the shoot. But Son Ye-jin never answered even once. So I said, 'Please answer too,' and she replied, 'Senior, please take care of it.' Hearing that made me think, 'So that's how she felt at that time. She was saving it up,' which made everyone laugh."

A flustered Son Ye-jin honestly explained, "I had a lot of curiosity and questions, but there were many emotional lines, and I had to focus on the director's detailed direction for my work."

'Can't Help It' is a bittersweet mystery drama that tells the story of 'Man-soo' (Lee Byung-hun), a company employee who feels satisfied with life to the point of thinking he has 'achieved everything,' but suddenly gets fired. To protect his wife and two children and to keep the house he worked hard to acquire, he prepares for his own war towards re-employment.

Starring Lee Byung-hun, Son Ye-jin, Park Hee-soon, Lee Sung-min, Yeom Hye-ran, and Cha Seung-won, it is set to be released in September.
