Writer So Jae-won has made another critical remark towards actor Choi Jun-yong.

On the 8th, So Jae-won shared a screenshot of an article mentioning Choi Jun-yong on his SNS, stating, "This is how articles should be published to stop the absurd incitement of the incompetent. There are numerous comments from far-right individuals criticizing me, and some are saying that a young person is being rude to his senior. I will boldly pass on the malicious comments from the far-right for the sake of my mental health."

He continued, "And why is that person my senior? Can you say that genuine and counterfeit are from the same company brand? I acknowledge the connection between bags and shoes from the same company brand, but counterfeits are different."

So Jae-won added, "It's not a matter of different styles or thoughts; how can someone who defends a criminal mastermind of insurrection be a senior? A young person, you say? It's embarrassing. Compared to the university students who led democracy in the past, I am already of an age that could be considered an uncle. Are those who call me a young person actually old themselves?"

Earlier, on the 7th, So Jae-won unleashed a barrage of criticism against Choi Jun-yong. He pointed out Choi's actions on the podium at a rally against the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol held on the 3rd at the Donghwa Duty-Free Shop in Jung-gu, Seoul. So Jae-won questioned, "Was this person an actor?" and strongly criticized, "Is someone who was forced to retire due to lack of acting skills still considered an actor?"

He further claimed, "This industry is harsh. If directors, writers, and actors lack skill, no one will hire them, and out of shame for not having works, they won't even hand out their business cards." He raised his voice, saying, "If you were forced to retire due to lack of skill, just live quietly." So Jae-won also pointed out to Choi Jun-yong, "Don't tarnish the name of true actors by using the title of actor."

So Jae-won is the grandson of painter So Byeong-ho and is known for writing the original novel "I Was a Ten-Pro" for the 2008 film "Bisty Boys." He has also worked as the original writer for films such as "Tunnel," "Wish," and the drama "Goodbye has Left."
