Actor Joo Jong-hyuk and broadcaster Lee Hye-sung have been selected as the hosts for the '2025 International Streaming Festival' Global OTT Awards, co-organized by the Korea International Streaming Festival and the Korea Communications Commission.
This year's 'International Streaming Festival' will be held from the 22nd to the 25th at the Busan Cinema Center and Paradise Hotel.
Centered around the Global OTT Awards on the 24th, the festival will showcase a variety of new media services and technologies focused on OTT, including investment attraction showcases, Media & Brand Day, an International Streaming (OTT·FAST) Summit, an OST concert, and series screenings, presenting a forward-looking platform for the convergence of media, culture, and technology.
In particular, the Global OTT Awards will feature world-renowned stars and a rich lineup of celebratory performances.
Among the performers are Anson Kong and Eric Xiao, who have special ties to Korea, as well as the indie band Jungshik Band, the original artists of 'I Am a Firefly.'
Presenters will include Anson Kong, Eric Xiao, actress Lim Yi-shin, actor Zhong Xinling, and actress Mira Philza. Actors Jeong Kyung-hwa and Yeom Hye-ran, music director Yoon Il-sang, and actress Sandrine Pina will also participate. The guest lineup includes actors Park Eun-bin, Oh Jung-se, Yeom Hye-ran, and Cha Tae-hun, Kang Yoo-seok, Lee Soo-hyun, and Jeong Soo-bin, making it truly glamorous.
International actors will also attend, raising fans' expectations. Sakaguchi Kentaro, Berik Aichanov, Baek Kyung-jeong, and Natarat Noparataya-phon will grace the event.
