Singer Kim Jung-min has used the condolence money from his mother's passing for a meaningful cause.
The KBDCA (Korean Blood Cancer Association) announced on the 1st that Kim Jung-min, along with his fan club 'Kim Jung-min and Friends', donated 3.5 million won to support patients battling blood diseases and cancer.
This donation was made using the condolence money collected by the fan club to mourn the passing of Kim Jung-min's mother on the 27th of last month.
Kim Jung-min expressed, "As I bid farewell to my mother, I wanted to return the warm condolences from the fan club members as hope to the patients," and added, "I hope the spirit of sharing and love that my mother always emphasized can be a small strength for the recovery of the patients."
The Korean Blood Cancer Association stated, "The warm intentions of Kim Jung-min, our ambassador, and the fan club will be a great comfort to the patients," and mentioned, "This donation will be used entirely for the treatment costs of patients with blood diseases and cancer who are struggling to continue their treatment due to financial difficulties."
Meanwhile, Kim Jung-min has been active as an ambassador for the association since 2010 and has continued various promotional and sponsorship activities, including a donation of 10 million won for blood cancer patients in 2024, delivering messages of hope to those suffering from blood diseases.
