
Starting next month, visitors to St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican will be able to hear voice guidance in Korean thanks to actor Cha Seung-won's talent donation.
The Archdiocese of Seoul announced that it has produced a Korean audio guide for St. Peter's Basilica and delivered it to the Vatican on the 29th (local time).
The audio guide was produced in collaboration with the Apostolic Nunciature of Korea and the Archdiocese of Seoul, with actor Cha Seung-won providing his voice as a talent donation. It is set to officially launch on the 1st of next month.
At the delivery ceremony held at the Vatican, Bishop Lee Kyung-sang expressed his joy, stating, "We are pleased that the Archdiocese of Seoul could collaborate on this audio guide project," and added, "I hope it will be a practical help to many Korean pilgrims."
Cardinal Mauro Gambetti, the Apostolic Delegate of the Vatican City, expressed his expectations for the Korean audio guide, saying, "Korean believers and pilgrims will be able to experience St. Peter's Basilica more richly."
