The two children of the late Seo Hee-won are spending their summer vacation with their biological father Wang So-bi (Wang Xiao-pei), his remarried wife Ma So-mei (Ma Xiao-mei), and Wang So-bi's mother.
Recently, Chinese media reported that Wang So-bi took his daughter and son, along with his current wife Ma So-mei and mother Zhang Lan, to tour the grasslands of Inner Mongolia and visit a shopping mall in Beijing during the children's summer vacation.
The released videos and photos show Wang So-bi and his current wife Ma So-mei affectionately caring for their daughter and son, enjoying a cheerful tour with grandmother Zhang Lan.
According to reports, the daughter has grown significantly taller, and her long hair cascading down her shoulders resembles her mother Seo Hee-won very much from behind.
In particular, this visit to Beijing is noted as the first public appearance of the children since Wang So-bi gained custody, and it marks the moment the two children returned to the mainland after several years.
Local media Sina Entertainment reported, citing an anonymous source, that the purpose of the children's visit is simply for travel. The two children are expected to continue their studies in Taipei and will visit their father in Beijing only during vacations.
Previously, Wang So-bi was spotted visiting Taipei with his remarried wife to meet the two children.
Seo Hee-won married Chinese businessman Wang So-bi in 2001 and had one son and one daughter, but they divorced in 2021. After their divorce, they had conflicts over allegations of drug use and infidelity.
Later, Seo Hee-won reunited with her former lover, group Clone's Gu Jun-yeop, whom she had dated 20 years ago, and they married in 2022. However, in February, Seo Hee-won passed away from pneumonia caused by the flu while on a family trip to Japan, shocking many.
As a result, the custody of the two children, which Seo Hee-won previously held, is reported to have been transferred to their biological father Wang So-bi.
