Webtoon artist Park Tae-jun divorces wife, a former girl group member, by mutual agreement last year

Webtoon artist Park Tae-jun (41), known from 'Ulzzang Generation', has recently been reported to have divorced Choi Soo-jung (37), a former girl group member.

According to Park Tae-jun's agency, The Grim Entertainment, Park Tae-jun and Choi Soo-jung divorced by mutual agreement last year. The reason for the divorce is said to be personality differences.

In 2020, Park Tae-jun appeared on the MBC entertainment program 'Radio Star' and announced his marriage to Choi Soo-jung, stating, "We registered our marriage this year."

At that time, Park Tae-jun expressed his affection for Choi Soo-jung, saying, "We dated for 10 years. Living together feels like being friends. My wife calls me her best friend," but they have now chosen to go their separate ways after four years of marriage.

Park Tae-jun gained popularity after appearing on the Comedy TV entertainment program 'Ulzzang Generation' in 2009 and has since participated in various entertainment programs such as 'Flower Boy Company' and 'Food Road'. He later became well-known as a writer for Naver Webtoon titles like 'Lookism', 'Fight Class 3', and 'Life is a Mess'.

Choi Soo-jung debuted in the entertainment industry in 2010 as a member of the Sino-Korean joint girl group Lotte Girls. In 2018, she appeared in the web drama 'Check, Mate', and in 2019, she appeared on MBC's 'I Live Alone' as a close friend of Mamamoo member Hwasa.
