Broadcaster Ahn Hyun-mo apologized after his memorial post related to the Infinite Airport passenger plane disaster sparked controversy.

On the 1st, Ahn Hyun-mo posted on his social media, "I had shortcomings in conveying my sorrow."

He expressed, "I cannot suppress my grief over the Jeju Air disaster. I sincerely convey my condolences to the bereaved families who must be suffering greatly from this incident. I pray for the souls of the deceased."

On the 30th, Ahn Hyun-mo posted a photo of the airport along with the message, "I have been boarding planes for several days now, on Friday, Saturday, and today, but everything that flies and lands is fate. Everything is something to be grateful for. The more I think about it, both my inhalation and exhalation can be filled with sorrow," which drew criticism for expressing the disaster in terms of 'fate' as being rude and inappropriate.

Afterward, Ahn Hyun-mo deleted the post and closed the comment section, but as the controversy spread, he posted an apology two days later, reiterating his condolences for the victims.
