Singer and actress Hyeri (31, Lee Hyeri) has apologized in response to an aggressive reaction from a fan during her first fan communication since the dating rumors with dancer Woo-tae (34, Chae Woo-tae) surfaced.
On the morning of the 4th, Hyeri wrote on the fan communication platform Bubble, "I can't sleep because I miss you so much. I really missed you too. Did the alarm go off too early??ㅠㅠ I'm sorry."
She continued, "I'm diligently reading every reply you send me. What I really want is just one thing: to live happily and healthily without pain! That's all!" She expressed her feelings, saying, "Actually, I've been receiving a lot of attacks for a long time, so I'm okay. But it really hurts me when (fans) are in pain."
In response to a fan's message that said, "I've never seen such a brazen celebrity who doesn't think about fans at all. Don't send Bubble at 7 AM," she used the reply function to apologize, saying, "I'm really sorry. I'll pay more attention next time." Bubble provides a feature where if a celebrity replies to a specific person's message, that message becomes publicly visible.
She added, "I hope you have a good day. I need to sleep a littleㅠㅠ You know I always appreciate, feel sorry, and love you, right? I'll do better! Thank you," showing her deep affection once again. Fans also expressed their concern, saying, "Hyeri, don't reply to the negative messages on Bubble... it hurts my heart."
On the 1st, rumors of Hyeri and Woo-tae dating surfaced. They reportedly met as an actor and choreographer during the filming of the movie 'Victory' released last year and have been dating for over a year.
A representative from Hyeri's agency, Sublime, stated to Maeil Business Star Today, "It's difficult to confirm (the dating rumors) as it's a matter of the actor's private life. We ask for your understanding," neither confirming nor denying the rumors. Typically, when dating rumors are not true, agencies clearly deny them to prevent speculative reports, but Hyeri's stance is interpreted as effectively acknowledging the relationship.
Previously, Hyeri faced difficulties due to her personal life after breaking up with Ryu Jun-yeol following a long public relationship.
After breaking up with Ryu Jun-yeol at the end of 2023, Hyeri sparked 'transfer romance' suspicions when she posted a comment saying "That's interesting" regarding sightings of Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee in Hawaii in early 2024.
