Musician Kang Lin (real name Kang In-goo), a former member of the group E.O.S, has suddenly passed away at the age of 58.
According to a report by Financial News on the 3rd, Kang Lin was found dead in a hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 31st of last month. The exact cause of death has not been disclosed.
As the news of Kang Lin's sudden death has shocked many, interest in the late musician continues to grow.
Kang Lin graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in composition and debuted in 1993 as part of the three-member group E.O.S, alongside Kim Hyung-jung (vocals) and Ko Seok-young (guitar). Kang Lin played the keyboard on their first album and took on the role of producer for the second and third albums.
E.O.S's representative songs include "You're Not a Stranger" and "Dream, Fantasy, and Illusion," and at that time, they gained attention for presenting Euro techno music, which was not well-known in Korea.
After leaving the group, Kang Lin formed the group Lynn O&X in 1995 and continued his activities. He also produced albums for groups such as Marie Jane and Zett.
