Actress Choi Ran and former basketball player Lee Chung-hee have reportedly made a significant profit from the sale of their apartment.
According to Korea Economic TV on the 1st, Choi Ran and Lee Chung-hee sold a 198㎡ unit at Acro Seoul Forest for 18.7 billion won at the end of May.
The couple purchased the apartment for 3.772 billion won in August 2017, resulting in an estimated profit of about 15 billion won over 8 years.
This transaction set a new record for the highest price ever at Acro Seoul Forest. It is not only the highest transaction in the complex but also ranks as the most expensive apartment in the country based on the price per pyeong. The selling price per 3.3㎡ of the house sold by Choi Ran and Lee Chung-hee is reported to be 248.83 million won.
Lee Chung-hee and Choi Ran got married in 1984 and are known as the first celebrity basketball star couple.
