Actor Gong Yoo showcased his friendship with soccer player Son Heung-min.
On the 19th, Gong Yoo posted a photo on his Instagram account with the caption "Respect!!"
The released photo captures Gong Yoo and Son Heung-min posing affectionately together. Additionally, Gong Yoo wore Son Heung-min's UEFA Europa League championship medal around his neck.
Gong Yoo also showed off the jersey gifted to him by Son Heung-min. The jersey had a long message starting with Gong Yoo's nickname "Ggong".
Son Heung-min wrote on the jersey, "Although I couldn't be with you in the stadium, thanks to your support, I achieved this incredible accomplishment of winning. I sincerely thank you and will always remember your heartfelt advice by my side. I will always be on your side, no matter what happens. I love you."
Gong Yoo previously revealed on Jang Do-yeon's web entertainment show 'Salon Drip' that "I have the same stylist as Son Heung-min. So we got to know each other and became friends a long time ago," adding, "Recently, I went to London and watched a game."
Gong Yoo's next project is the Netflix series 'Slowly but Intensely'.
