Comedian Yoon Hyung-bin lost a front tooth while preparing for an MMA match against Banzz.
On the 18th, Yoon Hyung-bin shared a post on SNS saying, "Issue of losing a tooth while preparing for a striking match with Banzz," along with a photo.
The photo shows Yoon Hyung-bin holding his lost front tooth with a playful expression while preparing for the MMA match. He accepted the serious situation of a broken tooth with humor, once again demonstrating his sincerity towards fighting.
Yoon Hyung-bin will face Banzz at 'Gubne ROAD FC 073' held at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul on June 28.
This match was arranged at Banzz's request. Banzz made his MMA debut through the Fighter 100 competition hosted by Kwon Ah-sol last November and expressed his desire for a match. Yoon Hyung-bin showed a cautious attitude, but after Banzz continued to express his interest, Yoon Hyung-bin accepted the challenge.
The two announced during a press conference in February that they would compete for Banzz's YouTube channel with 2 million subscribers and Yoon Hyung-bin's channel with 20,000 subscribers. Yoon Hyung-bin mentioned, "Considering my age and the concerns I had, (ROAD FC Chairman Jeong Moon-ho) offered an attractive amount that I have never heard of a fighter receiving in 20 years of being close to fighting," referring to an enormous fight purse.
